DAAD Research Grant

Deadline: November 15 for 10-month and short-term; November 15 and May 15 for short-term
Length: 1 to 10 months, renewable for up to a year
Comments: For research in Germany; PhD candidates must be ABD at start of grant period but for no more than four years; Post-docs should have completed their PhDs no more than two years (for 10-month) or four years (for short-term grants) prior to the time of application; ”must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States and Canada. Foreign nationals are eligible if they have been full-time students/scholars at an accredited US or Canadian University for at least two years at the time of application.”
